Work From Home

So why do I want to work from home? Simple- I can be there for my son, my husband and my home and still be an independent money maker. I believe that every woman should make her own money. Money is power ladies. The person with the money has the most power. This means that if the husband is working and the wife is a stay at home mom, then the husband has the most power. I'm sure there are many who will say that this is not so, but I will tell you that yes it is, you're just not aware of it. Notice that I said that the person with the money has the most power, not all the power. There are wives and mothers that are content with the husband having most of the power, and thats fine. I was for a year, my mother was and is all her life. But I'm not content anymore. I want to make my own money. I want it to be mine. I'm sick and tired of having to explain my purchases, to hide my shopping bags, to justify why something I want is worth it. Maybe this is a problem for me because I want too many things, but thats a whole other post. The point is, I need to make my own money. There is a but...I dont want to sacrifice my son. I want to be there for him, I want to enjoy the weather with him, I want to take naps with him, I want to have lunch with him, I just want to be there. I did the work away from home thing, I was exhausted and I barely spent time with my son. I take my hat off to you mothers that do this.

So- one day I just randomly heard about some person who sold his blog for like 15 million dollars or something to Google. I was shocked! I thought to myself, a blog? I have to find out more about this! So being the information junkie that I am, I got on Google and searched how people are making money from blogs. I could not believe my eyes. People are actually doing this! I read story after story about boys, girls, moms, dads, couples, anybody. . . working from home, and making money, lots of money. I have to do this, I said. This is exactly for me. I love to write. I love to google. I love to read. I love to shop. I love information. I love celebrities, make-up, vacations. I love being a mom. I can blog about any of these things, and make money! I just have to find out how. This blog is where I will chronicle my journey on going from just a stay at home mom to a work from home mom.
